Open Northfleet is inviting artists, collectives and creative practitioners to propose ambitious projects that bring art into unexpected and everyday places across Northfleet.
We are interested in ideas that could animate shop windows, cafés, local businesses, street furniture, community venues and overlooked public spaces. Projects might include installations, performances, temporary interventions, participatory activities, sculpture, sound, film or other creative approaches.
Selected projects will form part of the Open Northfleet Festival on Saturday 3 October 2026. We are particularly interested in proposals that are welcoming, practical to deliver and capable of creating meaningful encounters with local residents, visitors, businesses and community partners.
Your proposal does not need to be fully developed at this stage. Please use the application form to tell us about your idea, where and how it could be presented, who it is intended for and what support or practical requirements you may need.
You are welcome to apply for more than one Open Northfleet opportunity.
